How does this bed keep your dog cool? Simple! The self-cooling mat consists of a non-toxic cooling gel that's typically 5-10°C cooler than room temperature and keeps cool for up to an hour, depending on the environment. Although the coolness may dissipate after that, it can be easily reset back to its cool self by leaving it unused for an hour - so you don't need to refrigerate or freeze it! The Scruffs Cool Dog Bed is made of a 100% polyester cover, mesh, and base, whereas the bolster fill is made of eco-friendly 100% recycled green fibres. Take note not to bleach or tumble dry when cleaning.
