    Saxon DeepSky 12" Dobsonian Telescope

The Saxon Dobsonian 12" Reflector Telescope is a powerful telescope which allows you to see further into the nightsky without bursting your budget. They are one of the Best First Time User's Telescope as they give the most value. This is due to its unique design, whereby the majority of the product cost goes into its high-quality lens.

    PYREX GLASS ON THE 12"
The Saxon 12” Dobsonian features a primary mirror made of Pyrex glass. Because of its very low coefficient of thermal expansion, Pyrex glass is less affected by changing temperatures. This greatly reduces the cooling time of a telescope larger than 10” in diameter without using an extra fan. The great stability of this low expansion glass ensures high quality images. It is also substantially more resistant to scratching then plate glass.

*Please note, the image through all finder scopes will be upside down.

Shipping costs are charged by either dead weight or cubic weight (whichever is greater).
Dead weight = The actual weight of the item. Cubic weight = L x W x H (Meters) x Cubic Conversion Rate (250).

    Multiply the height x length x width = 0.35 x 0.65 x 0.4 = 0.091 m³ (Cubic Measurement)
To convert 0.091 m³ to a weight in kilograms: Multiply 0.091m3 x 250 (Cubic Conversion Rate) = 22.75 kg
