The Celestron C8-A Schmidt-Cassegrain (OTA) is the upgrade of Celestron C8. This rugged aluminum optical tube is 17 inches long and weighs less than 6kg. With its 2032mm focal length and a focal ratio of f/10, you can expect a pretty impressive view from this optical tube. With Celestron's StarBright XLT optical coatings, it increase contrast and light transmission for brighter deep space images and shorter exposure times.
The Celestron C8-A OTA uses a CG-5 dovetail bar which can be mounted on most computerised mounts. A 1.25" star diagonal is also included along with a 25mm eyepiece that provides 81x magnification.
