This Baader 2" Erecting Diagonal is perhaps the finest Amici Prism Diagonal available today with affordable price. Made with proper specification to provide image quality without suffers the commonly defects found in other Erecting Diagonals.
Erecting Diagonal are traditionally used for Terrestrial viewing, designed to correct image upright for a comfortable viewing. This high quality Baader Diagonal able to let you use much higher magnifications without aberrations, in other words, it's also suitable for astronomical use.
The 7-Layer Multi-Coatings provides bright and contrast images while the aluminium housing provides a stress free mounting and precise location for the prism, unlike other diagonal using a weak plastic or crudely cast housings.
This Baader Diagonal is suitable for Refractors, Schmidt-Cassegrains, Maksutov Cassegrains and other telescopes with a viewing position at the rear. NOT suitable for Newtonian telescopes due to lack of back focus.
